Karyn Hascal |

Karyn Hascal, Deputy Director, has over twenty-seven years of experience working in the field of behavioral health. Karyn worked in community-based mental health and substance abuse for thirteen years and in private for- profit agencies until coming to state government in 2000. Karyn has worked extensively with the homeless, indigent population and with those who have co-occurring disorders.

Van Ingram |
 |
Van Ingram is the Branch Manager for Compliance. He recently retired as chief of the Maysville Police Department. Ingram is a Kentucky Law Enforcement Council certified instructor, was a member of the governor’s statewide Drug Summit and was the 2003-2004 President of the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police. Ingram also received the Governor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Kentucky Law Enforcement in 2004.

Michael Pelonero |
 |
Michael Pelonero is an Internal Policy Analyst for the Compliance Branch. Pelonero joined ODCP after 22 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration. His last assignment prior to retiring from DEA was as the Resident Agent in Charge of the DEA in London, Kentucky Resident Office. Michael brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience to ODCP and works in the Compliance Branch where he oversees the state funded Drug Task Forces.

Debbie Spaulding |
 |
Debbie Spaulding is a Program Coordinator for the Compliance Branch. She held various positions in the Administrative, Criminal Appellate, Public Corruption and Special Investigations Divisions of the Attorney General’s Office. Prior to that, Debbie served as Deputy Sheriff and bookkeeper for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office for over 12 years. She graduated from the Kentucky Sheriff’s Academy in 1987 where she served as Class President and received leadership and scholastic awards. She was certified as a D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) instructor in 1988 and taught throughout the Shelby County school system.

Heather Wainscott |

Heather Wainscott is an Administrative Branch Manager. She previously worked for Franklin County Fiscal Court as an Executive Assistant, as well as, Payroll and Accounts Payable Administrator from August 1997 to February 2005.
Heather has an extensive background in Local Government Administration and Public Relations. Prior to her accepting the position in local government, she worked as a lobbyist, marketing executive, and a high school teacher. Heather holds a BA degree in Political Science and Education from the University of Kentucky.

Sandra Harston |

Sandra Harston is the Program Coordinator for "Champions for a Drug Free Kentucky." Sandra's previous employment includes seven years with the Kentucky County Judge/Executive Association and AmeriCorps National Service Programs. She has extensive experience in local governments and community programs. Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in political science.

Berry Hammermeister |

Berry Hammermeister is an Executive Staff Advisor for the Office of Drug Control Policy. She previously worked for Franklin County Fiscal Court as Fiscal Court Clerk, Executive Assistant to the Judge/Executive and Benefits Administrator from 1999 to 2005. Berry has extensive background in office management and public relations. She has been in the medical profession for over 27 years and has an associate degree in Medical Assistance.

Stacy Floden |
 |
Stacy Floden is the Information Office Supervisor. She previously worked for Kentucky Emergency Management in a similar role for two years. Stacy also worked for WKYT Television in Lexington as the Weekend Sports Anchor. She has an extensive background in communications and public relations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications from Western Kentucky University.

Amy Andrews |

Amy Andrews is the KY-ASAP Program Coordinator. She has held various positions in the Anderson County Tennessee Juvenile Court, Lee County Alabama District Attorney’s Office and U.S. Attorneys Office for the Western District of Kentucky. At the United States Attorney’s Office, Amy worked with the Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council and the Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee. Amy attended Columbus State University where she majored in Criminal Justice.
